ठाणे के घोडबंदर रोड पर मेट्रो ब्रिज परियोजना के तहत खोदे गए करीब 10 फुट गहरे गड्ढे में 25-26 टन स्क्रैप टायर से भरा एक कंटेनर अनियंत्रित होकर जा गिरा. हादसे में कंटेनर चालक अमित यादव वाहन के अंदर फंस गए, जिन्हें दमकल विभाग की टीम ने करीब 15 मिनट की रेस्क्यू कार्रवाई के बाद सुरक्षित बाहर निकाल लिया. चालक को मामूली चोटें आई हैं. घटना के बाद पुलिस, आपदा प्रबंधन और यातायात विभाग मौके पर पहुंच गए हैं, जबकि कंटेनर को बाहर निकालने और यातायात को सामान्य बनाए रखने का काम जारी है.
