कावड़ यात्रा के मद्देनजर जिन-जिन इलाकों से यात्रा गुजरेगी वहां सुरक्षा के कड़े इंतजाम किए गए हैं. प्रशासन ने हाई अलर्ट जारी कर दिया है. संवेदनशील रूट्स पर ड्रोन और सीसीटीवी से 24 घंटे निगरानी रखी जाएगी. इन रूट्स पर अतिरिक्त फोर्स तैनात रहेगी. ट्रैफिक और सुरक्षा के लिए विशेष व्यवस्था की गई है. कंट्रोल रूम से लगातार मॉनिटरिंग होगी. किसी भी आपात स्थिति से निपटने के लिए क्विक रिस्पॉन्स टीम का गठन किया गया है. कावड़ रूट पर मीट की दुकानें बंद रखने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं. कई जगहों पर रूट डायवर्जन और बैरिकेडिंग भी की गई है. मुजफ्फरनगर प्रशासन भी अलर्ट मोड पर है. यहां सभी नॉन-वेज दुकानों को बंद करने और कुछ दुकानों को यात्रा के दौरान कपड़े से ढकने के निर्देश जारी किए गए हैं.
कॉकरोज जनता पार्टी ने एक बार फिर आंदोलन की चेतावनी दी है. दरअसल सीजेपी छात्रों पर दर्ज मुकदमे वापस लेने की मांग कर रही है. सीजेपी नेता आशुतोष रांका ने कहा कि 25 जुलाई को हुए समझौते का पालन किया जाए. अगर मांग पूरी नहीं होती है, तो सीजेपी एक बार फिर विरोध करेगी और आंदोलन करेगी. सीजेपी का आरोप है कि सरकार ने समझौते का पालन नहीं किया है. छात्रों पर से मुकदमे वापस न लिए जाने पर सीजेपी ने दोबारा आंदोलन की चेतावनी दी है.
