Speaking in Parliament during the discussion on the Bill in the Lok Sabha to amend the anti-paper leaks law, the SP MP said that the students protest forced the government to bow down and accept the demands.

Applauding the students for the protest, Akhilesh said that what started with a joke evolved into a nationwide movement, which even forced the government to think democratically.

संसद में एंटी-पेपर लीक विधेयक पर चर्चा के दौरान बीजेपी सांसद बांसुरी स्वराज ने कांग्रेस और यूपीए सरकार के दौरान हुए पेपर लीक मामलों का ब्योरा दिया। उन्होंने बताया कि 2014 से पहले यूपीए शासनकाल के दौरान एआईपीजीई, आईसीएआई सीपीटी, क्लैट, रेलवे रिक्रूटमेंट बोर्ड और एसएससी सीजीएल समेत कुल 22 बार पेपर लीक की घटनाएं हुईं। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने राजस्थान में रीट और पुलिस कांस्टेबल भर्ती जैसी परीक्षाओं के लीक होने का मुद्दा भी उठाया।
